Find the weight of a 1m metal pipe:

3 m = 7.6 kg

1 m = 7.6 ÷ 3 = 38/15 kg

Find the weight of a 7.8 m metal pipe:

1 m = 38/15 kg

7.8 kg = 38/15 x 7.8 = 19.76 m

Answer: The 7.8 kg metal pipe will weight 19.76 kg.

Given  weight of 3 m long pipe = 7.6 kg

Weight of 1 m long pipe = 7.6/3 kg

                                         = 76/30kg

                                         = 38/15 kg

Weight of 7.8 m long pipe =( 38/15 )× 7.8 kg

                                        = 19.76

The required weight of the pipe = 19.76 kg
