Heya !!!

Height of metallic pipe (H) = 77 cm

Diameter of metallic pipe (D) = 4 cm

Internal radius (r)= D/2 = 4/2 = 2 cm

External diameter of metallic pipe = 4.4 cm

Radius (R) = D/2 => 4.4/2 = 2.2 cm

Therefore,

TSA of metallic pipe = 2π ( R+r) ( H + R -r)

=> 2 × 22/7 × ( 2.2 + 2) ( 77 + 2.2 - 2)

=> 44/7 × (4.2) × ( 77 + 0.2)

=> 44/7 × 4.2 × 77.2

=> 14266.56/7

=> 2038.08 cm².

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)

sanju573: the total surface area =the inner curved surface area +the outer curved surface area +2×22/7×(r1)2 +(r2)2
