Given :

  • Radius of the pipe = 21cm
  • Height of the pipe = 90cm
  • π = 22/7

To Find :

  • Curved Surface Area of the pipe.

Formula :

  • Curved Surface Area of Pipe = 2πrh

where,

  • r = radius
  • h = height

Solution :

Putting the Values :

  • CSA of Pipe = 2πrh
  • CSA of Pipe = 2 × 22/7 × 21 × 90
  • CSA of Pipe = 2 × 22 × 3 × 90
  • CSA of Pipe = 44 × 3 × 90
  • CSA of Pipe = 44 × 270
  • CSA of Pipe = 11,880cm²

Therefore :

  • Curved Surface Area of the pipe is 11,880cm²
