Given :

  • Radius of the pipe = 21cm
  • Height of the pipe = 90cm
  • π = 22/7

To Find :

  • Find the curved surface area of the pipe ?

Solution :

  • Using Formula :

➣ Curved surface area of pipe = 2πrh

Where,

  • r = radius
  • h = height

According to the question :

➣ CSA of pipe = 2πrh

➣ CSA of pipe = 2 × 22/7 × 21 × 90

➣ CSA of pipe = 2 × 22 × 3 × 90

➣ CSA of pipe = 44 × 3 × 90

➣ CSA of pipe = 44 × 270

➣ CSA of pipe = 11,880cm²

Hence,

  • The curved surface area of the pipe is 11,880cm².
