hello ☺

area of metal plate = 32 * 12 = 384 cm

area of small square = 384 / 16 = 24

thank you

let number of small squares required be x.
then area of metal plate and small squares will be equal then length X breadth is equals to area of square.
32 \times 12 = 4 \times 4 \times x
x = 32 \times 12 \div 16
x = 24
