A metal plate measuring 42 by 14 cm is put up into small squares of side length 7mm.How many squares will be cut?​

Hey mate here is your answer ..

Length of metal plate = 42

Breadth of metal plate = 14

Area of plate = Length × Breath

= 42× 14 = 588 cm²

Length of small square = 7 mm = 0.7 cm

Area of small square = side² = 0.7² = 0.49 cm²

Number of squares = 588/ 0.49 = 1200

Hence , 1200 squares will be cut .
