Hey mate,

● Answer- YA(R-r)/r

● Explaination-
Young's modulus of elasticity is given by,
Y = Fl / Ax
F = YAx / l

But, l = 2πr
And x = 2πR - 2πr = 2π(R-r)


Hence, force of expansion is-
F = YA × 2π(R-r) / 2πr
F = YA(R-r) / r

Force acting on expanding ring is YA(R-r)/r.
