Let , the side of cube be s .

volume \: of \: metal \: sheet = volume \: of \: cube \\ = > 27cm \times 8cm \times 1cm = {s}^{3} \\ = > 216 {cm}^{3} = {s}^{3} \\ = > s = \sqrt[3]{216 {s}^{3} } \\ = > s = 6cm

Therefore, side of cube = s= 6 cm
