after sometime a layer of metal Y is formed on metal strip X metal X is used in glavanization whereas metal Y is used for making electric wires

reaction...
Zn + CuSO4 ---> ZnSO4 + Cu
here,Zn is used in galvanization...
and Cu is used in electrical wires
