We know that,

Volume of the sphere = \(\frac{4}{3}\prod r^{3}\)

The volume of the solid sphere equal to sum of the n spherical balls.

= \(n(\frac{4}{3}\prod 1^{3})\)= \(\frac{4}{3}\prod r^{3}\)

= n= 8³ =n= 512

Hence 512 numbers of balls can be made of radius 1 cm of a solid sphere of radius 8 cm.
