A metallic cuboid measuring 4 cm × 6 cm × 9 cm is melted and formed into a cube. Find the side of the cube.

Lets first find the Volume of the Cuboid -

l × b × h

= 4 × 6 × 9

= 216 cm³

After melting the object it is said that we have got a cube ( = l³) A cube is just a number multiplied 3 times by itself...

Let that number be \large\red{x}

\huge\red{\underline{\underline{\rm{Therefore -}}}}

216 = x³

 \sqrt[3]{216}  = x

6 = x

Therefore, the length of the Cube is 6cm
