Volume of left metal = Volume of cylinder - Volume of hole
= 1/3πR²H - 1/3πr²h
= 1/3π(3*3*5 - 1.5*1.5*1)
= 22/21(45 - 2.25)
= 22/21 (42.75)
= 940.5/21
= 44.785approx.
= 1/3πR²H - 1/3πr²h
= 1/3π(3*3*5 - 1.5*1.5*1)
