 \huge\bf \red{here \: is \: your \: solution}

volume of cylinder = pi R^2 h

And that of sphere is 4/3 X pi X r^3

Given R = 12 cm, h = 2.5 mm or 0.25 cm

Equate 4/3 X pi X r^3 = pi R^2 h

Cancel pi on both sides
So required r^3 = 3/4 * R^2 h = 3/4 X 122 X 0.25 = 33

Hence r = 3 cm

Radius of sphere = 3 cm
