a metallic pipe whose internal and external diameter are 8 cm and 6 CM has a length of 2.1 M find the volume of the metal

External diameter, D = 8cm ; External radius, R = D/2 = 4cm

Internal diameter, d = 6cm ; Internal radius, r = d/2 = 3cm

length of the pipe = 2.1 m = 210 cm = h

volume of metal = outer volume - inner volume

= π R2h - π r2h = πh[R2 - r2]

22*0.3(28)

=184.4 is the answer.....
