Let Q1 and Q2 are charges on the two spheres when they are connected.

When two spheres are connected, their potential will be equal.

V1 = V2

k.Q1/r1 = k.Q2/r2

Q1/Q2 = r1/r2

Q1/Q2 = r/(r/2)

Q1/Q2 = 2

Q1 = 2Q2

Therefore, when the spheres are connected ratio of charges is 2:1.
