From Archimedes Principle , we know that

BUOYANT FORCE = WEIGHT OF THE FLUID DISPLACED

WEIGHT of the fluid DISPLACED = V×row×g

Where v = Volume of the substance

row = density of the fluid

g = acceleration due to gravity

Let BUOYANT force be taken as 'b' .

So , b=v×row×g

=> b = 1000×2.5×10^-4×9.8

= 2.45 N

ANS : 2.45 N
