A metallic sphere of radii 6cm,8cm and 10cm respectively, are melted to form a single solid sphere.

Find the radius of the resulting sphere.​

area of 3 sphere = 4/3π (r1³ +r2³+r3³)

= 4/3 π ( 6³ + 8³ + 10³ )

= 4/3 π ( 216 + 512 + 1000)

= 4/3 π (1728 )

area of resultant sphere = area of 3 spheres

4/3 π R³ = 4/3 π (1728 )

R³ = 1728

R = 12 cm

radius of the resulting sphere. is 12 cm
