A metallic sphere of radius 4.2cm is melted and recast into the shape of a cylinder of radius 6 cm . Find the height of the cylinder​

Answer:

volume of sphere = volume of cylinder

4/3πr^3= π r^2h

4/3(4.2)^3= (6)^2h

h= (4×4.2×4.2×4.2)/(3×6×6)

h= 2.7cm(approx.)
