Length of wire = 4.5 cm

● Explanation -

Important thing here is volume of metal remains same even after transformation.

Volume of sphere is given by -

V = 4/3 π.R^3

V = 4/3 × π × 6^3

V = 288π cm^3

Now, volume of wire will be same.

V = π.r^2.l

288π = π × 8^2 × l

l = 288 / 64

l = 4.5 cm

Therefore, length of wire is 4.5 m.
