height of cylinder = 10 cm

height of two cone is (18-10) = 8 cm

assuming the two cone are identical, height of one cone is =8/2 = 4 cm

radius r of the cone is same as the cylinder i.e (6/2)=3 cm.

Area of cone = 3.1416 x r x l [ here l = (r^2 + h^2 )^1/2 = 5 ]

= 47.124 (approx)

So, area of two cones = 2 x 47.124 =94.25 (approx)

Area of cylinder = 2 x 3.1416 x r x h = 188.5 (approx)

so, total surface area of the toy = 94.5 + 188.5 =283

1 cm sq. gold plating costs 100

So, 283 cm sq. costs (100x283) = 283000
