a metel rod of dimensions is 180,120,100cm melted and recast into cube. the lenth of each cube is 60cm then how many cubes are formed.

volume of cuboidal rod=the total volume of all cubes...therefore 180cmX120cmX100cm=nX60cmX60cmX60cm where n is the total no. of cubes formed...on solving the equation we get that n =10

Volume of cuboidal metal rod = 180×120×100
= 2160000 cm³
Volume of cube = 60³ => 216000Cm³
No. Of cube formed = 2160000÷216000
=> 10 cubes
