according to question,
if 100 cm produces shadow of 70 cm
then x cm will produce shadow of 5.6 cm
by cross multiplication , we get ,
x = (5.6*100)/70
= 560 / 70
= 8 cm
therefore , the height of tree is 8 cm .
hope it helped you !!!
