Mid sized computers formerly called minicomputers . This term comes from a time when minicomputers were the smallest computers in the market.

Multiuser software is a software that allows access by multiusers of a computer. Time - sharing systems are multiuser systems. Mainframe computers can also be considered as multi - user.
