A milk container is 8 cm long and 50 cm wide. What should be its height so that it can hold 4 litres of milk ?

Convert 4 liters into cm3 first
4litres= 4000
4000=8x50xX (formula)
So in order to make X (height) the subject you need to divide 4000 by 80x50 since they were multiplying
4000/50x8
=10

4litres = 4000cm

4000=50×8×h ( let hieght be h )

10cm = h
