Answer:

Thus the price of milk from Village 1=56.25 Rs/litre

and the price of milk from Village 2 =Rs 75 Rs /litre

Step-by-step explanation:

let the milk purchased from village 1 and 2 is 4x and 5x

total milk after mixing =9x

If y litre water is added then

100*y/(9x+y) =10 %

9x+y=10y

y=x ,Thus x litre water is added

Hence total milk for sale=10x litre

sale rate=Rs 78 / litre

SP =78*10x=780x

Profit is 30%

so 100* (SP-BP)/BP =30 BP = Buying price and SP=sale price

100*SP-100BP=30BP

100SP = 130BP

780*100=130BP

So BP=780*100/130=600x

If price of milk from village 2 =p

then price from village 1=3p/4

Thus total BP=(3p/4)*4x+p*5x=600x

3p*4x+20px=2400x

32px=2400x

p=2400/32=75 Rs / litre

Price of village 1=3*75/4=225/4=56.25 Rs/litre

Thus the price of milk from Village 1=56.25 Rs/litre

and the price of milk from Village 2 =Rs 75 Rs /litre
