Greetings...!

S.P of first buffalo = Rs 20000

Gain =5%

So,cp = 100/100+g%*sp=(100/105)*20000=rs 19047.6

Second buffalo , cp =(100/100-loss%)*SP= 100/90*20000=rs 22222.2

Total cp = rs 41269.8 {22222.2+ 19047.6}

Total sp = 40000

 Hence ,loss = 1269.8{CP - SP}

Loss ℅=Loss/C.P*100=(1269.8/41269.8)*100=3,07℅(answer)
