A milk tank is in the form of a cylinder whose radius is 1.5m and length is 7 m. Find

the quantity of milk in litres that can be stored in the tank & cost of milk@ Rs

20/litre.​

quantity of milk in cylinder = vol of cylinder

vol. if cylinder= πr²h

=22/7 × 1.5 ×1.5 ×7

= 49.5 m³

= 49.5 ×1000 l

quantity of milk = 49500 l

cost of milk in 1 litre = 20

so, the cost of milk in 49500 litres = 20 × 49500

= 990000 rupees
