A milk tank is in the form of a cylinder whose radius is 1.4 and length 7m. find the quantity of milk(in litres) that can be stored in a tank

quantity of milk= volume of cylinder tank

volume \: of \:  cylinder = \pi {r}^{2} h
 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 1.4 \times 1.4 \times 7 \:  \: m
 = 40.34 \:  {m}^{3}
we know,

1 {m}^{3}  = 1000 \: litres

40.34 {m}^{3}  = 40.34 \times 1000

 = 403400 \: litres
