Let's understand the concept:-

Here milk tank is a Cylinder So for finding the quantity of milk we need to find the volume of The cylinder.

Let's solve

Given:-

Height=h=10.5m

Radius=r=1.5m

To find:-

Volume=v

Solution:-

As we know that in a Cylinder

{\boxed{\sf {Volume={\pi}r^2h}}}

  • Substitute the values

{:}\longmapsto \sf Volume={\dfrac {22}{{\cancel{7}}}}\times(1.5)^2\times{\cancel{10.5}}

{:}\longmapsto \sf V=22\times2.25\times1.5

{:}\longmapsto \sf V={\dfrac {22\times {\bcancel {225}}\times15}{{\bcancel{1000}}}}

{:}\longmapsto \sf V={\dfrac {22\times9\times15}{40}}

{:}\longmapsto \sf V={\dfrac {2970}{40}}

{:}\longmapsto \sf V=74.25m^3

As we know that

{\boxed{\sf {1m^3=1000litres}}}

{:}\longmapsto \sf 74.25 m^3=74.25\times1000

{:}\longmapsto \sf74250litres

\therefore\sf Total \:Quantity \:of \:74250litres\:milk\:can\;be \\ \sf stored\:in\:the\:tank.
