Given

cylinder with radius=1.5m

∴volume of cylinder=1/3πr²

=1/3 × 22/7 × 1.5 × 1.5

= 22/7 × 0.5 × 1.5

calculate and you will get the answer

Given:-

  • Length of milk tank = 7 m.
  • Radius = 1.5 m.

To find:-

  • Quantity of milk in litres that can be stored in the tank.

Solution:-

Now,

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{Volume~ of~ tank = \pi r^2 h}}}

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{\dfrac{22}{7}\times 1.5\times 1.5\times 7}}}

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{33.0\times 1.5}}}

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{49.5 m^3}}}

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{49.5\times 1000}}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀\boxed{\sf{\orange{(1 m^3 = 1000~ litres)}}}

\large{\tt{\longmapsto{49500~ litres}}}

Hence, quantity of milk in litres that can be stored in the tank is 49500 litres.
