→r=1.5m
→l=7m

Volume of cylinder=πr²h
→h=l

Volume=πr²l
Volume=22/7×1.5²×7
Volume=49.5m³

As we know
1m³=1000litre
49.5m³=>49.5×1000=>49500litres

Quantity of milk that can be stored is 49500 litres

Answer:

49,500 liters of milk can be stored in the tank.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that the milk tank is in the form of a cylinder whose radius is 1.5m and length is 7m.

Length of milk tank = height of the cylinder

Now,

Radius of the cylinder = 1.5 m

Height of the cylinder = 7 m

We know( formula ),

Volume of cylinder = πr^2 h

Therefore,

Volume of the milk tank = πr^2 h

       ⇒ \dfrac{22}{7}\times (1.5 m)^2 \times 7 m

       ⇒ 22 x 2.25 m^2 x m

       ⇒ 49.5 m^3

We know,

= >  1 m^3 = 1000 liters

So,

49.5 m^2 = 49,500 liters

Therefore,

49,500 liters of milk can be stored in the tank.
