Given : Length of the edge of the cube shaped milk tank is 8 metres.

To find : The quantity of milk in cubic metres, that can be stored in the tank.

Solution :

512 cubic meters of milk can be stored in the tank.

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process. (our goal is to calculate the milk holding capacity of the cube shaped milk tank in cubic meters unit)

The amount of milk that can be stored in the tank = volume of the tank

Volume of a cube = (length of a edge)³

So,

Volume of the cube shaped milk tank = (8)³ = 512 cubic meters

(This will be considered as the final result.)

Hence, 512 cubic meters of milk can be stored in the cube shaped milk tank.
