Answer:

88000 litre milk can be stored in the cylindrical milk tank

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we are given with the radius and length of a cylindrical milk tank.of milk that can be stored in the tank, so we need to find the volume of the tank.

The milk tank is in the shape of a cylinder.

  • The radius of the milk tank = 2m
  • The length of the milk tank = 7m

( Here, length is the height of the cylindrical tank )

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

Where,

  • r = radius of the cylinder
  • h = height of the cylinder

Volume = π( 2m)²(7m)

Volume = π × 4m² × 7m

Volume = π × 28m³

Volume = 22/7 × 28m³

Volume = 88m³

88m³ milk can be stored in the tank. But, we are asked to answer it in litres

1m³ = 1000 l

88m³ = (1000 × 88)l = 88000l

88000 litre milk can be stored in the cylindrical milk tank

Given :-

  • Shape of tank = Cylinder
  • Radius of Tank = 2m
  • Height of Tank = 7m

 \\  \\

To Find :-

  • Volume of the Tank.

 \\  \\

Solution :-

⇒ Volume of Tank = πr²h

⇒ Volume of Tank = 22/7 × (2)² × 7

⇒ Volume of Tank = 22/7 × 2 × 2 × 7

⇒ Volume of Tank = 22 × 2 × 2

⇒ Volume of Tank = 44 × 2

⇒ Volume of Tank = 88m³

________________

The Volume of tank is in m³ but we have asked in litres so, we will change the volume in litres

⇒ 1 m³ = 1000 litres

⇒ 88 m³ = 1000 × 88

⇒ Volume = 88000 litres

________________

Therefore, 88000 litres of milk can be stored in the tank.
