a milk tank is in the shape of cylinder with a hemisphere of same radii attached to both ends of its it as show in figure if the total height of the tank is 6 m and the radius is 1 metre calculate the maximum quantity of milk filled in the tank in litres and also calculate the total surface area of the tank​

Given,

Radius of tank (r) = 1m

Height of tank (h') = 6m

Height of Cylinder (h) = 6 - 2

= 4m

Volume of the tank = Volume of Cylinder + 2 ( Volume of hemisphere)

= πr²h + 2 * 2/3 πr³

= πr² ( h + 4/3r )

= πr² ( 4 + 4/3 )

= πr² ( 4 + 1.3 )

= 22/7 * 53/10

= 16.65
