A milkman adds a very small amount of baking soda to fresh milk.
(i) Why does he do this specially during summer?
(ii) What happens to the pH of the milk?
(iii) Why does this milk takes long to set as milk?
(iv) What will happen if you add more baking soda to it?

kyuki summer me milk bahut jyada kharab hota hai

milk me baking soda mix krne se milk jldi kharab nhi hota hai isliye milkman milk me baking soda little amounts me mix krta hai

Explanation:

a - he do this special in summer because the milk is become sour and also deteriorating. so he miX baking powder in it.

b- ph of milk is 6.8 something but after adding baking powder in it the ph becomes 10.7

c- it takes more time to set as milk because the pH level of milk rose up.

d- if we add large amount of baking powder in it then the milk pH level goes up to 13. something and then it takes more time to become neutral
