Total milk = 1000 L

Amoumt of water = 100ml/l

= 100*1000 ml/1000l

= 100000 ml

= 100 l

So pure milk = 1000 l - 100 l

= 900 l

given: 1000 L milk with 100 ml water/L

To find: pure milk in 1000 L

solution:

every litre of milk contain 100ml water

so , 1000 L milk will contain how much water

        => 1000 * 100=100000 ml of water contain by 1000 L milk

= > 100000 ml = 100000/1000 L = 100 L water a milk contain

so the pure amount of milk = 1000 L -100 L

                                                =900 L

so the milkman used 900 L of milk .
