A milkman has 3 containers, one has more than 25litre capacity, another has 19litre capacity, another has 7litre capacity. How can he measure 1 litre of milk using 3 containers?

He can measure26 litres using 19 and 7 vessel. Then pour the milk

25 + 19 + 7 = 51. The combined sum of capacity of the 3 containers is 51 litres

The 25L container (has more than 25L capacity)

If the 25L container and the 7L was combined 25 + 7 = 32 (combined) The capacity of this container too carry 31 litres (ONLY). Physically Reduce / Increase or clearly marked (DO not fill above this line)

Container 1 = 31 Litres

Container 2 = 19 Litres

Container 3 has the capacity to carry 7L of Milk. This container has clear markings from 1 to 7.

Once Container 1 & 2 has been filled to capacity there will ONLY be 1 Litre in container 3.
