A milkman makes a profit of 20% on the sale of milk. if he were to add 10% water to the milk, by what % would his profit increase?

profit will be 30% by adding 20% & 30%

Let's take he sold 100ml of milk at ₹120 on profit. Now he used only 90 ml milk so price of 100ml milk would become 120÷90=4/3*100=400/3
Now 400/3-100(Cost Price)=100/3
Now (100/3)/100×100=
100/3 %
Profit increased by 100/3-20=40/3%
