30% of 500 = 30/100 × 500 = 150 @ 12/l. = 1800 rs

40% of 500 = 40/100 × 500 = 200@ 13/l = 2600 rs

remaining 30% of 500 = = 150 @ 14/l = 2100 rs

total = 500 litre = 6500 Rs

He sell it @ 14/l = 14×500 = 7000

he gain 500 Rs.

percent = 500/6500 × 100 = 7.69%
