Answer:

Rs.1269.83

Step-by-step explanation:

SP of first buffalo = Rs.20000

Gain = 5%

=> 105% of CP = 20000

=> 105/100 CP = 20000

=> CP = 19047.61

Hence, CP of first buffalo = Rs.19047.61

SP of second buffalo = Rs.20000

Loss = 10%

=> 90% of CP = 20000

=> 90/100 CP = 20000

=> CP = 22222.22

Hence, CP of second buffalo = Rs.22222.22

Total CP = Rs.(19047.61 + 22222.22) = Rs.41269.83

Total SP = Rs.40000

CP > SP

Hence, loss = CP - SP = Rs.(41269.83 - 40000) = Rs.1269.83
