Answer:

3% loss

Step-by-step explanation:

SP of first Buffalo = ₹20000

Gain = 5%

=> (100+5)% of CP = SP

=> 105% of CP = 20000

=> 105/100 × CP = 20000

=> CP = 20000 × 20/21

=> CP = ₹19047

SP of second Buffalo = ₹20000

Loss = 10%

=> (100-10)% of CP = SP

=> 90% of CP = 20000

=> 90/100 × CP = 20000

=> CP = 20000 × 10/9

=> CP = ₹22222

Total CP = ₹19047 + ₹22222 = ₹41269

Total SP = ₹20000 + ₹20000 = ₹40000

CP > SP.

Loss = CP - SP = ₹41269 - ₹40000 = ₹1269

Loss % = 1269/41269 × 100 = 3%
