Loss= 10% of CP
= 10/ 100× y
= y/10
SP= CP - LOSS ( y - y/10 = 9/10y )
20000= 9/10y
or, y = 10× 20000/9
= 22222.22
total SP= rs (20000+20000) = rs40000
total CP= rs ( 19047.62 + 22222.22 ) = rs41269.84
CP > SP
therefore, loss = ( 41269.84 - 40000 ) = rs 1269.84 ANS
