Answer:

(a-b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2

a^2 + b^2 - 2ab = a^2 + b^2 + 2ab

a^2 and b^2 get cancelled on both the sides.

-2ab = 2ab

2ab + 2ab = 0

4ab = 0

ab = 0
