First convert the mm to cm.

10mm = 1 cm

70/10 = 7 cm

In this case we have the outer circle and the inner circle.

The radius of the outer is :

49 + 7 = 56cm

Area of a circle = 22/7r^2

Area of outer circle = 22/7 × 56 × 56 = 9856 cm squared

Area of inner circle = 22/7 × 49 × 49 = 7546 cm squared

Area of the frame = 9856 - 7546 = 2310

Area covered by the frame = 2310

Visible area = 7546
