A convex mirror is used for this purpose. As, it forms a real image with a small magnification.

Explanation:

Convex mirror is used because it forms a real, inverted image when the a large object is placed far beyond the centre of curvature of the convex mirror.

Real image is that image which can be captured on a screen. In cases of mirror, the real image is always inverted.

Inverted image is that image that is upside down orientation.

In this case, the magnification is less than 1 and thuis is because the image formed is much smaller than the size of the object.

Only two types of images can be formed from  thses type of mirrors, that are, first is real and inverted and another is erect and virtual.

With the help of specific screen or tools the inverted image is again inverted to make it erect.
