Answer:

Let the quantities of the two types of wheat be 5x kg and 4x kg.

Then, C.P. of the two types of wheat

=5x× Rs. 20+4x× Rs. 25

= Rs. 100x+ Rs. 100x= Rs. 200x

S.P. of the mixture =(5x+4x)× Rs. 24

=9x× Rs. 24= Rs. 216x

S.P. > C.P., then

Profit =216x−200x= Rs. 16x

∴ Profit % =

200x

16x

×100=8%

Here is your answer -

Cost of mixed grains: 40₹/kg

Cost of wheat grains: 30₹/kg

A mixture consist of 2 parts MG amd 3 parts WG

So cost of it will be [(2/5)x40 + (3/5)x30]

Cost = 16+18 = 34₹/kg

For a profit of 10%

%profit = (profit/CP)x100

10 = (X/34)x100

X = 34x10/100 = 3.4₹

SP = Profit + CP = 34+3.4 = 37.4₹/kg
