Answer:

6ml CO.

Explanation:

From the chemical equation we have that CO +CO2 + O2 -> CO2

Also from the question we have that he volume of CO is 15 ml while for CO2 is  Vml and volume after explosion  V+12 ml .

since, 1 CO reacts to form CO2 after reacting with O2.

So, 2CO + O2 -> 2CO2

So, we get that 2 moles of  CO2  is formed from 2 moles CO.

So, the volume of O2 will be 2*22.4 L of  CO2

Since, V ml is the volume of O2, so O2 will be = 2V ml of  CO2

Hence, the Co which will produce V+12 ml of CO2 is 2V.

Therefore, CO2 of (V+12)- 2V ml will be producing 15-2V  volume of CO.

V+12-2V=15-2V .

12-V=15-2V .

On solving we will get V=3 ml . So, 2*3 or 6 ml of the CO will be produced by 15 ml of the mixture.
