Amount of water becomes (3x+5)
Therefore :
4x : 3x+5:: 4:5 [since 4:5 is the new ratio]

16x= 9x+15
16x-9x=15
7x=15
Hence x=2litres.
The amount of alcohol= 4x
Hence quantity of alcohol= 4*2
