A mixture contains milk & water in the ratio of 5 : 2. If 12 litres of water is added to the mixture the ratio of milk and water will become 4 : 3. Then what will be the quantity of milk in the mixture?

15x=8x+48
15x-8x=48
7x=48
x=48/7
milk =240/7
