Answer:

45 litre

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that the ratio of milk and water is

9:2

After adding 5 litre water to the solution the ratio become 3:1

it means the only change is comes in water I means milk is same bcoz milk not disturb

so

3:1 ( multiple by 3 to make milk same)

and now

9:2

9:3 it means if we add 5 litre water to the solution the change in ratio is 1

now we have to find the milk quantity in original mixture

if 1= 5

the 9 = ? (9×5)

45 litre is answer

45: 10 now add 5 litre water

45: 15 (divide by 3) 3:1

so the answer is absolutely right
